Cylinder Heads

   

Due to the poor fuel quality in the 50s, low compression ratios were necessary, as not to endanger the durability of the engines. Today, compression ratios up to 1:12 are quite common and durable. My CNC cylinder heads with their moderate increase of compression and their special geometry of the combustion chamber, provide a significant better acceleration, higher maxspeed and starting behavior. Crankshaft should be in good condition. Broken conrod bushbearing or big end bearings need to be repaired. 

1.    Cylinder Head„Il Naso“: 

Fits all singleport motors with a high nose piston (V1-30, Hoffmann, Acma until 1953, 125 U, Douglas Rod). The compression is about 1: 8.

The head can be installed p & p (depending on the piston roof, sometimes the original copper gasket must remain in place). It is not necessary to change carb jetting.

However, the spark plug must be replaced. 250 (for example, Bosch W4 or NGK9) or more is recommended. For safety ignition timing should be reduced about -4°.

2.     Cylinder Head „GS-Veloce“:

Suitable for all GS150 models of the series VS2 to VS5 and the german GS/3. The compression is 1:10.

The head can be installed p & p. The supplied o-ring seal provides best sealing. The massive CNC construction and additional ribs prevent overheating of the topend. The head is designed for all modern piston and includes the piston geometry of the currently available Meteor pistons. It is not necessary to change carb jetting!

However, the spark plug must be replaced. Value 250 (for example, Bosch W4) or more is recommended. The ignition timing should be set to 24°

3.     Cylinder Head „GS-Rapido“:

Suitable for all GS150 models of the series VS2 to VS5 and german GS/3. Compression ratio is 1:12. Works only in combination with a long stroke 60mm crank. The head can be installed p & p then. The supplied o-ring seal provides good sealing. The massive CNC construction and additional ribs prevent overheating of the topend. The head is designed for all modern piston and includes the piston geometry of the currently available Meteor pistons. It is not necessary to change carb jetting!

Spark plug must be replaced: Value 250 (for example, Bosch W4) or more is recommended. The ignition timing should be set to 24°
